Ingredients

Brownie Layers

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Creamy Chocolate Middle Layer

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1½ cups powdered sugar

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate Ganache Topping

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • ½ cup heavy cream

How to Make Triple Layer Brownies

1. Bake the Brownies

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt and mix just until combined.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, until set but still fudgy in the center. Let brownies cool completely.

2. Make the Creamy Middle Layer

In a bowl, beat softened butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, and vanilla. Beat until thick, creamy, and spreadable.

Once brownies are fully cooled, spread the cream layer evenly over the top. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to firm up.

3. Make the Ganache

Heat heavy cream until just simmering. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.

Pour ganache over the chilled middle layer and spread evenly.

4. Chill and Slice

Refrigerate brownies for at least 1 hour before slicing. This helps the layers set cleanly and makes for perfect slices.

Why These Brownies Are Next-Level
